Hypnosis is a very natural process, which you are
already very good at. In truth, a typical person experiences a Hypnosis
state an average of five times on their own during the day. These
are times when you find yourself daydreaming, reading, watching
T.V., driving into your driveway and not remembering turning down
your street, being intensely focused on a project and not noticing
that the time has flown by, etc. Within her Hypnotherapy practice,
Rebecca uses both Hypnosis and Counseling processes to develop an
awareness, understanding, and clarity for you as the client and
then teaches you through skills of Self-Hypnosis to empower choices
and changes in your life. Hypnotherapy generally facilitates results
in a much quicker fashion than other modalities of healing and change
and can be applied to most areas, however, clients will progress
each at their own pace. There is a difference between complete healing
and a quick fix. Rebecca Armstrong C.Ht. C.C.H. believes in complete
healing and building skills and resources for the client that the
client will be able to continue to apply to all areas of their life.
Client’s can expect to experience on average, a minimum of
four to six appointments to insure permanent and lasting changes.
It is during these four to six appointments that you learn the skills
and build the resources that will always be with you as you create
the life you want.
In addition to her private practice, Rebecca is an associate teacher
at the Colorado School of Counseling and Hypnotherapy Training,
is a founding member of Focus for Attention and Direction Development
(Focus for ADD), a Nationally received program for the treatment
of ADD/ADHD through Hypnosis, and is President of Colorado Hypnotherapist
Association.
